So, this happened.
Without a snag!
The Saturday night wedding of Heat guard Dwyane Wade and his actress/model girlfriend Gabrielle Union was a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. The roughly 200 guests couldn't blab because they were required to sign nondisclosure agreements along with their RSVP cards. Why would they? Who wouldn't want to attend this surely fabulous party?
Organizers were reportedly so paranoid about letting the cat out of the bag during the months of planning that the paperwork was under the headline: The wedding of Sheik Noinu Edaw — Union Wade spelled backward.
Gossip site GlobalGrind.com was one of the first to report the site to be Chateau Artisan, in the Redland, which makes sense since it is reached by moat.
You may recall the magnificent castle and grounds in rapper Birdman's Fire Flame video. The $13 million mansion was built by local architect Charles Sieger.
It’s in the rural Redland area near Homestead, not easily accessible. Check out the awesome digs: www.chateau-artisan.com. Judging by the looks of that place, can you imagine what went down.
Union reportedly wore a beyond gorgeous gown by Dennis Basso; Mr. Wade County had on a Dsquared suit, along with his custom-designed Wedding Collection bowtie from The Tie Bar, naturally.
As for the entertainment, TMZ found out the duo hired the so-called Michael Jordan of the violin and Donald Trump fave, Lee England Jr., to provide musical entertainment. Along with an R&B singer by the name of John Legend. Yeah. That guy.
The wedding-weekend tab was reported to be a cool $5 million.
Guests included former teammate LeBron James and Heat championship players Ray Allen, Shane Battier and Chris Bosh, and New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, Wade's bestie Kevin Hart and reality player Jonathan Cheban.
On Friday, the couple joined family and friends at way predictable Prime 112 Friday night for their rehearsal dinner. Union wore a black cut-out jumpsuit; Wade a light gray suit and sneakers. Both were grinning from ear to ear. Noticed among the guests: Cedric the Entertainer. They rounded out the night at LIV. Again, pretty darn predictable.
This is the second marriage for both Wade and Union.
Congrats! Let's hope it lasts!
