Chris Bosh at the Espys? Makes sense. Chris Bosh at the Emmys? Say what? But that’s exactly where the Miami Heat star was Sunday evening in Los Angeles, with wife Adrienne, rocking a white tuxedo. Bosh tweeted a picture of himself in front of a white Lamborghini with the hashtag #Emmys! The NBA stud is taking a page from the Dwyane Wade fashion playbook and designing a line of neckwear with Armstrong & Wilson called Mr. Nice Tie. He was in L.A. promoting the collection.


Celebrities anted up for the cause at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for the Charity Series of Poker (“CSOP”) tournament Wednesday night. Seen at the tables: singers Ryan Cabrera and Boyz II Men’s Nathan Morris; basketball champ Udonis Haslem; and model and former Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa. The CSOP tourny benefited Habitat for Humanity International and Habitat for Humanity of Broward. The participants created a not-too-shabby prize pool of $14,700.


Miami homeboy Carlos Gomez is a working actor so he needs to stay fortified. On Monday the former The Glades costar was seen with a big plate of carne con papas at Cuban mainstay Islas Canarias with celebrity photographer Manny Hernandez. Gomez recently wrapped up two projects, Gang Related on Fox and Ride Along 2 with Ice T in Miami and Atlanta. Check him out as Dr. Aslan in Dolphin Tale 2, which was filmed at Clearwater Marine Aquarium and in the Tampa Bay area and hits theaters Sept. 12.


ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill slipped and fell on his hip while aboard his tour bus Wednesday night. ZZ Top performance dates have been temporarily suspended while Hill recovers. If you have tickets to the Sept. 9 concert at Cruzan Ampitheatre, the new date when your ticket will be honored is Nov. 14. More info:
