Who: Wesley Snipes

Famous for: With his chiseled physique, quick wit and martial arts moves, the Orlando native settled nicely into a series of action roles ( Passenger 57, Demolition Man, Money Train, The Fan, U.S. Marshals). The box office has been his friend — Do the Right Thing, Major League, Mo’ Better Blues — but Uncle Sam has not. In 2010, Snipes began a three-year stint in Pennsylvania for misdemeanor failure to file federal income tax returns. After Snipes’ release last year, Sylvester Stallone had a part in Expendables 3 waiting for him .

What he’s up to these days: Speaking at Comic-Con, Thursday’s birthday boy said he would be open to play the titular vampire slayer again in another Blade movie. “I think we’ve got some stones left unturned and there’s some latitude left for us to build on,” he told MTV of the character he first played in 1998. “I’d love to get back in the suit and do some things I’ve learned how to do now that I didn’t know how to do then.” Just give your cut to the government this time.
