Cameron Diaz was spotted dining with friends Monday night at the new South of Fifth Mexican restaurant, Porfirio’s. The group of five, not including rumored beau Benji Madden, enjoyed spicy Mexican fare and sipped on Mezcal drinks during dinner. Diaz, our spy said, was in good spirits, gushing about her new relationship.
Italian soccer player Mario Balotelli was spotted Tuesday night at WALL with his model fiancée Fanny Naguesha. The affectionate couple was joined at their table by friends as they enjoyed bottles of champagne and vodka. Also spotted at a neighboring table were football players Jonathan Vilma and Josh Freeman.
Food Network chef Bobby Flay was seen sitting solo at the bar Wednesday at Khong River House, eating pad Thai.
Seen lunching Thursday at BLT Prime at the Trump Doral was Miami Heat owner Micky Arison with, says our spy, “two nondescript men,” acting, adds the spy, “seemingly cool, calm and collected.”
Chris “Birdman” Andersen was seen with a bearded male at the Dadeland Container Store buying “three big, black containers.”
Gisele Bundchen was spotted filming a commercial for Chilean department store Falabella on Thursday at The Biltmore Hotel. During the day-long shoot, Bundchen was showered with hundreds of rose petals while wearing a loose white blouse, green floral print shirt and skin-tight jeans. When she wasn’t filming, Bundchen remained private and was seen laughing with her trusted entourage. Bundchen is on a brief layover in Miami before heading to the World Cup Finals in Brazil on Sunday where she will present the World Cup trophy to the winning team.
Appearing on Buddy’s Bakery Rescue on TLC at 7 p.m. Tuesday is Miami’s Pastry Is Art, 12591 Biscayne Blvd., “run by a Peruvian chef with a passion for baking edible art.” In the episode, Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastro, tries to “help [owner Jenny Rissone] kick start her business within the high society of Miami, and bring more spice to the menu.”
IM5, the boy band created from a national talent search by American Idol mogul Simon Fuller and blogger Perez Hilton, will be in Miami as part of American Idol season 9 finalist Todrick Hall’s Twerk Du Soleil Tour, performing at the Colony Theater Thursday and then being feted with a party at LIV. In 2012, the group was featured on the Tyler James Williams song Don’t Run Away. Everything About U, the band’s first digitally released song, which caught the attention of Radio Disney programming directors. IM5 has, of course, a Miami connection as member Gabe Morales hails from here.
