What’s Jenny McCarthy up to after The View? Doing a lot of laughing.
The actress-TV personality is headed to Magic City Casino Saturday night with her comedy show, Dirty, Sexy, Funny. Joining host McCarthy on Stage 305 will be a handful of her most amusing gal pals.
“I handpicked the girls who I really thought had my own brand of humor,” explains the former Playboy Playmate, 41. “They have that raw, crude kind of Chelsea Handler edge. They tell it like it is. Right up my alley.”
Though the cast is all female, guys shouldn’t be afraid to tag along.
“A 50/50 audience is my goal,” McCarthy says. “That’s why we put the word ‘dirty’ in the title. You kind of know what you’re gonna get. We definitely show appreciation for men even though they can be a pain in the a-s.”
Will she miss her old pals on the ABC morning show set? Yes, but the mother of one (who is engaged to Donnie Wahlberg) is stoked for the future.
“I fell in love with [ The View] family,” McCarthy says. “I am so grateful I got to work with Barbara Walters in her last year. But the direction I’m about to go in is a bit different than the show is going, and I decided to roll the dice and move on.”
For tickets to the 8 p.m. show: www.magiccitycasino.com, 305-649-3000. McCarthy will host an after party at E11EVEN Miami; doors open at 10 p.m. For table reservations and to RSVP, call 305-305-6611 or visit www.whatis11.com.
