Here’s yet another case of celebrity foot-in-mouth disease. Adam Richman is patiently waiting to find out whether Travel Channel will air his new show Man Finds Food. You see, there was a slight issue with his abuse of a few people on social media, and the network yanked the show from Wednesday night’s lineup. The word “postponed” was used in a statement, so there may be some hope for the series, in which the Man V Food star uncovers off-the-beaten-path restaurants.
Earlier this month, Richman, who has been flaunting a 70-pound weight loss, got into an expletive-filled exchange with a few individuals who were offended by his hashtag #thinspiration (used by anorexia and bulimia supporters) earlier this month. Richman declared that he had no idea what that word meant when he posted it, and has since issued an apology.
21 AND OVER
Now an adult and not a Teen Mom, Jenelle Evans, 22, gave birth to her second son, she tweeted Monday. The former MTV personality named the child (with bf Nathan Griffith) Kaiser. Evans is in school, training to become a surgical assistant.
Closer Weekly is a newish magazine skewed toward women 40 and up, so it stands to reason they put out a sizzling summer issue featuring the editors’ top three celebrity picks from different age groups. The winners are Tim McGraw (sexiest in his 40s), Brad Pitt (50s) and Liam Neeson (60s). Yes, there are lots of pics.
A source tells the new issue of In Touch that Portia de Rossi entered the Passages Malibu rehab facility in early May for a 30-day treatment. It is unclear what the problem is/was, but the actress, Ellen Degeneres’ wife, sought treatment for an eating disorder after hitting 82 pounds in 2000.
Bachelorette final four contestant Chris Soules has a rap sheet. RadarOnline uncovered that in 2006 the Iowa farmer was found guilty of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, fined more than $500 and served one year of probation. According to Iowa state court records, Soules’ brushes with the law (mostly for alcohol-related behavior) began in 1998. It’s unclear who Andi Dorfman — who was checking out the “Miami sunshine” last week, she tweeted — will pick, but since she’s a lawyer maybe she doesn’t want a bad boy.
PIECE OF HISTORY
The city of Amsterdam isn’t quite sure whether to blame fate or human error, but a bench upon which the star-crossed teenage lovers (played by Shailene Woodley and Ansel Engort) talk in The Fault in Our Stars is missing.
