This family just can’t seem to keep it together.
Kate Major-Lohan — that’d be Lindsay Lohan’s stepmother — was arrested and accused of assaulting an officer in Delray Beach early Sunday morning.
Jail records show the troubled former tabloid reporter was hauled off on charges of disorderly intoxication and battery on a cop who was answering a domestic disturbance call at the home she owns with Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s father.
LL herself seemed to defend her stepmother in a cryptic Twitter post on Monday, writing “Don’t believe the gossip.”
According to arrest documents, a patrol car arrived and officers found the 33-year-old mother of two outside yelling, seemingly drunk. Her estranged husband did not want to let her inside. She was arrested after physically attacking the officer who was blocking her attempt to get back in. The report also said she kicked an officer in the leg.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office booking log shows Kate was booked and released Sunday afternoon.
