Calvary (R): A priest (Brendan Gleeson) is threatened during confession by one of the members of his parish and must face the consequences.

Guardians of the Galaxy (PG-13) The Marvel Comics space superhero team comes to the screen, starring Chris Pratt as the pilot leading a squad of misfits, including a talking raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).

Get On Up (PG-13): The Help director Tate Taylor takes on the life of the legendary James Brown, starring Chadwick Boseman ( 42) as the Godfather of Soul.

Magic in the Moonlight (PG-13): In 1920s Paris, a stage magician (Colin Firth) tries to discredit a psychic (Emma Stone) who claims to be the real deal.

Code Black (unrated): Documentary look at an inner-city emergency room dealing with bureaucracy and health-care red tape.

Masterpiece Mystery (9 p.m. Sunday, PBS): David Suchet begins his final episodes as Hercule Poirot. Tonight, the master sleuth navigates international intrigues while investigating the shocking death of a Russian chess grandmaster.

Eating America with Anthony Anderson (9 p.m. Monday, Food Network): Join the actor (and occasional chef) as he travels around the country in serach of unique food fairs and festivals.

Penn & Teller: Fool Us (8 p.m. Wednesday, CW): Aspiring magicians try to baffle the veteran duo with a single trick.

Sharknado 2 (9 p.m. Wednesday, SyFy): Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water (or take a stroll in Times Square), here comes “the fin-tastic sequel to the low budget flick that whipped up a surprise social media storm last summer.
