How often do your favorite TV outlets all carry the same show at the same time — and in prime time, without ads? Tune in to just about any channel at 8 p.m. Sept. 5 to see for yourself. Dozens of broadcast and cable networks will again donate a simultaneous hour of commercial-free airtime to carry the fundraiser Stand Up to Cancer. Participants will include ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, HBO, Showtime, Lifetime, ESPNews and many others. Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to produce the telecast for a second time, and other stars from television, film and music will encourage and accept donations.

So she’s not so single, footloose and fancy-free after all. Miley Cyrus has been dating her Bangerz album producer Mike Will Made-It for the past nine months, multiple sources reveal exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly. “Everybody in her circle knows they’ve been together this whole time,” a source close to the Wrecking Ball singer tells Us. Cyrus, 21, first started seeing the producer, 25, soon after splitting from her fiancé Liam Hemsworth in September 2013.

Her personal life is such a hot mess that Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks will probably get a raise from Bravo. Parks’ husband Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in federal prison after pleading guilty in May to conspiring to commit mail, wire and bank fraud. He was also ordered to pay $2.3 million in restitution. During his sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, prosecutors said Nida and co-conspirators since 2009 had stolen checks and used victims’ stolen identities to file fraudulent tax returns and fraudulent claims against the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Authorities say the group laundered money by opening bank accounts in its victims’ names.

John Wayne’s heirs are dueling with Duke University over the family’s right to market bottles of bourbon branded with the late movie star’s nickname, Duke. The bottle features an image of Wayne holding a rifle with the name Duke emblazoned over it. A federal lawsuit is the latest salvo in a long-running feud between the North Carolina university and John Wayne Enterprises over who controls the trademark for commercial products featuring the name. The university fired first, opposing a 2005 trademark application filed by the actor’s heirs to use the name Duke for a restaurant. The school’s lawyers say allowing Wayne Enterprises to use Duke could cause confusion and tarnish the value of the moniker.
