Big screen

Opening Friday

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (PG-13): Electro (Jamie Foxx), the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan) and the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) train their sights on the webslinging hero (Andrew Garfield) in the official kickoff to the blockbuster summer movie season.

Fading Gigolo (R): John Turturro wrote, directed and stars in this comedy about a florist who is convinced by his pal (Woody Allen, in a rare acting-only appearance) to become a high-end male escort.

Blue Ruin (R): A man returns to his hometown to avenge an old slight but proves to be a poor assassin. There will be blood.

Rene Rodriguez

Small screen

Revenge (10 p.m. Sunday, ABC): Emily — I mean, Amanda — adopts a third persona in her quest to take down the Graysons. Maybe she should name this one Sybil.

Fargo (10 p.m. Tuesday, FX): Worth watching? You betcha.

Portlandia (10 p.m. Thursday, IFC): Season four concludes with shenanigans during a road trip.

Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m. Saturday, NBC): The Amazing Spider-Man’s Andrew Garfield hosts and Coldplay performs.
