With Devon Aoki, Sarah Carter, Natassia Malthe and Holly Valance. Directed by Corey Yuen. Released by The Weinstein Company. Rated PG-13.

The sequel to the 2005 hit has superheroes the Fantastic Four (Michael Chiklis, Ioan Grufudd, Jessica Alba and Chris Evans) dealing with the imminent destruction of the earth by a planet-devouring being known as Galactus. The four try to stop Galactus by dealing with his cosmic emissary, the Silver Surfer. Things get worse when supervillain Dr. Doom reappears, giving the four two big problems to solve. With Julian McMahon and Doug Jones. Directed by Tim Story. Released by 20th Century Fox. This film is not yet rated.

A sort of "Night of the Living Dead" meets "Lassie," this horror comedy takes place in an idyllic 1950s-style world where domesticated zombies work as slaves for well-heeled suburbanites. Timmy and his mom (Carrie-Anne Moss) form an attachment to the new family zombie named Fido (Billy Connolly), a bond that Dad (Dylan Baker) just can't quite understand. It doesn't get easier when Fido kills and eats one of the neighbors. With Henry Czerny, Tim Blake Nelson and K'Sun Ray. Directed by Andrew Currie. Released by Lions Gate. Rated PG-13.
