"HOSTEL, PART II"
This sequel to 2005's hit horror film has another group of college kids finding the world's most unpleasant getaway spot. Some young women studying in Rome are invited on a trip to a supposedly relaxing spot somewhere in Europe, but what's waiting for them is torture and murder at the hands of some very sick rich people. Starring Lauren German, Bijou Phillips, Heather Matarazzo, Richard Burgi and Milan Knazko. Directed by Eli Roth. Released by Lions Gate Films. Rated R.

What the critics say: "This may not be the kind of movie you'd want to sit through repeatedly - or even once, for that matter. Regardless, Ross is good at what he does."
-Christy Lemire, The Associated Press
"(T)he only way to watch is to suspend any literal-minded analysis and appreciate Roth's Grand Guignol sensibilities on their own level."
-Peter Debruge, Variety

"OCEAN'S THIRTEEN"
The second sequel to the caper film "Ocean's Eleven" adds Al Pacino to the star mix. Billy Ocean (George Clooney) and his pals (Brad Pitt, Matt Damon) team up with an old nemesis (Andy Garcia) to rob a hated casino mogul, with the motive being revenge instead of riches. With Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac and Elliott Gould. Directed by Steve Soderbergh. Released by Warner Bros. Rated PG-13.

What the critics say:
"The new film is so listless and logy it needed Michael Moore to take it to Cuba for emergency medical treatment."
-Richard Corliss, Time Magazine
"Ocean's Thirteen still feels like one trip too many to the craps table."
-David Germain, The Associated Press

"SURF'S UP"
With a TV crew tagging along, a surfing penguin leaves his home in Antarctica to enter a pro competition in this animated spoof of sports films and reality TV shows. Featuring the voices of Jeff Bridges, Brian Benben, Zooey Deschanel, Jon Heder and Jane Krakowski. Directed by Chris Buck and Ash Brannon. Released by Sony Pictures Entertainment. Rated PG.
