The African-American Performing Arts Community Theatre is putting on a production of ‘Anne and Emmett’ at the African Heritage... Cultural Arts Center in Liberty City. The play imagines a meeting between Anne Frank, who died at age 15 inside the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during the Holocaust, and Emmett Till, who was 14 years old in 1955 when he was murdered for reportedly flirting with a white woman in Mississippi.
