New York transplant Philippe restaurant at the Gansevoort South is a prime see-and-be-seen spot. Its red, white and black bar area is a perfect place to hang with friends and sip signature cocktails like the fresh, sweet Philipptini.
D.I.Y.
The Philipptini: Pour 1 ½ ounces vodka (Snow Queen preferred), 1 ounce triple sec and 2 ounces fresh pineapple juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a lychee skewer.
F.Y.I.
The Philipptini is about $20 at Philippe, 2305 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-0250.
