We’re not sure if there will be a true “upscale” move or if the company will stick to style alone — as with the 300C — to sway buyers. The company’s product timeline is below.
At the end of the product roundup, there was absolutely no mention of Alfa Romeo being sold again in the U.S. That was just one of the many points the Wall Street Journal’s sources got wrong in a report last week.
2010
Chrysler 300 Sport edition, Town & Country Fashion edition, PT Cruiser Final edition, Sebring Ocean edition
- Estimated on sale date: Early 2010
Chrysler Sebring
- Redesigned model with a new engine, new interior and better fuel economy.
- Estimated on-sale date: End of 2010
Chrysler Town & Country
- Gets redesigned inside and out with a new engine, improved fuel economy and better suspension.
- Estimated on-sale date: End of 2010
Chrysler PT Cruiser
- Phased out by end of 2010
- Redesigned version of the sedan that we’ve seen glimpses of before.
- Estimated on-sale date: Early 2011
2012-13
New Fiat-based subcompact, compact, midsize sedan and midsize crossover
2014
All-new Chrysler Town & Country
- Complete redesign
