Cuidate----JAM

Yes, I remember the Libray too! And Miss Jo...who's name we couldn't pronounce at the time. I remember getting in trouble there once because I wanted to check out a book but I wanted one with a new card so I'd be the first name on it....so I switched cards in two books....(I was in 1st or 2nd grade) and of course I got caught and "called in" by Miss Jo....Wonder if the library is still there.....The few memories I have are sweet...

Hi Ana We lived on Milanes #67 a block down from the Parque de la Libertad (I believe it was called) and about a year before we left we moved to Milanes #32 about 2 or 3 blocks going in the other direction from the park. As you can see I don't remember things like my sister Lucy does. She was 2 school years ahead of me. We used to go to the park every afternoon after school with a group of friends and their moms. Sorry it took so long to answer...I don't get on the site often.....:)

Ana: Who all do you see from la Playa? We had quite a few students from there at Sagrado Corazón . . . Yo me acuerdo de Tula, Villy, y Mayi (can't remember how to spell those names) Anyway, yo creo que las tres were sisters . . . When do you have your reunions?

Anita, How are you? I hope you are feeling great! I just checked this website as I was reading a newspaper article for Pedro Pan in the Miami Herald. Hi to your family.

Ana I lived on La Calle Milanes across the street from Maria Elvira and her mother Maricusa - Manina & Francisco Manuel were Maria Elvira's grandchildren, but I don't remember whether on the mother or father side . . . I'll check with my mother. I don't remember the people you named . . . Lucy
