Hi, Guillermo/Willie....I'm rushing right now but will give you more info on Evansville kids...in the meantime, go ahead and check out the cuban kids 60s exodus...they have a great website w/photos, stories, etc. As a matter of fact, they just had a reunion on May 15 and will have another one in September. Post photos of your family here, if you like. We all do it to get to know the families too. Hasta pronto.

By the way, I see you are in California. Have you connected w/the PP there? If not, go to www.cubankids1960.com. It's a fun group

Hi, Willie....actually the Hillenbrands also lived in St. Joseph. I believe it was something like Rural Route #7 and then it changed to Bromn Road. Beautiful piece of land with only 2 houses and a log cabing on it. There was a small lake or rather a water hole that the kids would go swimming. What a coincidence! If you guys lived in Evansville, then your foster sister must have gone to a school there and not in Vincennes. Vincennes is about 50 miles due north of Evansville. Since we've connected you can now see my email address. Go ahead and write me there and we can continue the "Indiana Experience" ha ha!

Hi, Guillermo....My brothers and I went to Indiana. I was in the orphanage in Vincennes but my brother Tony was in a foster home in Evansville with the Hillenbrands. Mr. Hillenbrand (soon to be 90 years old) worked for the Catholic Church that handled most of these things. Did you ever hear of him when you lived there?

Hola Guillermo, the reason could be that your photos'resolution is too high. Please try lowering the resolution. Eloísa
