Alvio R's Story
Late in 1959 Dad's perception was that things in Cuba were not going the way it was advertised. Decisions were made, not everyone in the family was in agreement but solid decisions were made. Those that left first, included my cousins Elizabeth, Alejandrina, Adolfo, Medardo, my sister Marietta and me. Nothing would have ever taken place without the efforts from the Pedro Pan Organization.
Eventually the majority of the family departed Cuba and relocated to the U.S.
We were fortunate and grateful.
We still are.
