Eloisa, perdona la lata pero se me ocurre una cosa que puede ser que les ayude haciendo este trabajo tan monumental. Cuando Lynn me mando mis hojas del log, la primera pagina (hay 3) empieza con la fecha de Jan 5-61, yo vine Enero 5 de 1962 pero mi nombre esta en la lista de las paginas del 61. Ella me dijo que como es natural al principio del año, es facil poner el año anterior y eso fue lo que le paso a su Papa. Pues me puse a buscar los nombres de Jan 5-61 en el database y encontre que Andres J. Avellanet Garcia esta en el 61 del database, pero su hermano Jesus esta en el 62 del database. No busque mas nombres, pero siento necesario decirselos a ustedes por si acaso les ayuda en alguna manera. Yo se que estan trabajando mucho en esto y yo encuentro que es tremendo exito. Yo misma he tenido mucha suerte en encontrar "la gente de mi pueblo" Todavia no he podido encontrar las otras muchachitas de St. Patrick's Home en Sacramento pero heramos pocas (8). Si encontre a Miriam Fernandez que nos reunimos en el picnic donde te conosi a ti, pero tengo fe de algun dia encontrar mas. Gracias por todo. Mary

Thank you so much for having put together this database which allows Pedro Pans to read about the personal stories of others and see how similar it is many of us!!!!! I think that one of the reasons for the database to be incomplete is that it appears that it has recorded those children arriving under the sponsorship of the Catholic church. In order for this to make sense to a non participant, you must realize that upon arrival at the Miami airport you were asked your religion, Catholic, Protestant or Jewish at which time you were sent in different directions according to your religious affiliation. Those of us who were Protestant were sent through a different line than the Catholics, therefore not being "recorded" by Mr. George. I've searched the database for other Protestant Pedro Pans and likewise they do not appear in the database. A second problem that I have encountered is that my date of arrival in Miami, September 23, 1961 does not appear to be recorded. Again, thank you!!
