OPERATION PEDRO PAN AND FIDEL: In his occasional "reflections" in the Internet, Cuban dictator Fidel Castro this week chose to speak of Operation Pedro Pan. To read his take on the exodus, go to:http://miamiherald.typepad.com/cuban_colada

Yes I remember the square dancing lessons at Florida City. They were conducted by Delia Diaz de Villar, and they were held at the patio next to the dining room. That was a lot of fun, I talk about them to people all the time. I am glad that someone else remembers them too. Thanks for posting those memories. Carmen

POSTED BY FELIX DIAZ - Does anybody from Kendall remember going to Florida City for square dancing lessons around the first part of the year 1962? Refresh my memory if you were there.
