Pepin Rivero prestigious editor of "Diario de la Marina" published a magazine in exile "Foto Impresiones",and in the issue of May 15, 1962 edition, he published the article "Bay of Pigs" - Dr. Alfredo Botet's Suicide - on page 28, 29 and 30. Jesus Gonzalez Scarpetta a writer for Diario de la Marina lived 2 houses from us and recalled the ill fated invasion and the attack my family suffered on that day. He also discusses his last conversation with my father before our house was attacked by the militia. I cannot edit to insert this record in my story. Thanks for helping me update my records.

In High School in NYC my best friend was a girl named Liliana Muniz. When she married after we graduated she moved to Kentucky and I lost track. I believe she was in an Air lift in 1962. After she landed she lived with her Aunt and Uncle in NYC. She would have been born in 1945 or 1946. At the time my name was Barbara Wood (now my last name is Negron) we attended George Washington HS and graduated in 1965. Can you help me find her?

My mother was born Appolina De La Hors Portal (I believe this is correct) She was adopted by Christina Amor (originally from Spain) at a young age (in Cuba). My mother was contacted years ago by her older brother who remembered her before she was placed with another family and brought to America. He told her that she has a large family in Miami including a sister that looks just like her. My mother is turning 60 next year and for her birthday I would love to reunite her with her real brothers and sisters that she has never met. I to would love to meet all of my cousins in Miami if there is anything that can be done it would be much appreciated.
