A subtlety I didn't catch
Number of comments: 0
In their quest to put the proposed changes to the law to a vote, the Dolphins are using a non-binding referendum. And the county, therefore, is attempting to change the classification (since no political office is at stake, and there is no bond) which would mean that they only need [...] -
New logo
Number of comments: 2
I don't like the new logo. But, for some strange reason I was immediately reminded of the Boston Breakers USFL logo from 30 years ago.
I know, most people won't see it. And really, the only relationship is that they are supposed to evoke the movement of the ocean [...] -
Follow the money!!
Number of comments: 3
The dolphins announced that they are willing to make concessions and repay the money for stadium renovations.
But read the fine print. It's most of the money. And it's in 30 years from now.
I'm not going to sit here and speculate on the reasons mr [...] -
Dolphins Offer To Reimburse County For Cost Of Public Referendum
Number of comments: 0
Yeah it sounds nice and all, but the comment "if allowed under state law" is apropos. It's not allowed. So it's a hollow gesture.
Also mike dee hints that they'd like to have a referendum on may 7 or 14, which is impossible - because they have to [...] -

This is an item that appeared in the Miami Herald:A trick play only works if the defense doesn’t know it’s coming. Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is asking for $200 million in taxpayer funds in order to renovate the Miami Dolphins’ stadium, including an exemption on [...]

What Dustin Keller Brings To The Table For The Dolphins
Number of comments: 0
When Dustin Keller decided to depart New York to sign with division rival Miami, Dolphins fans were generally encouraged with the move. He was the latest in a number of signings for the Dolphins as Mike Wallace, Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler already joined the squad. So what can Keller [...] -

I am dumbfounded by absurdity sometimes. And the audacity of some people makes me scratch my head.
The NFL wants host cities to exempt them from paying taxes
Yes you read that right. A not for profit NFL thinks it should not have to pay [...] -

I admit that I didn't care who the Dolphins signed. Â It really didn't matter to me. Â But the fact is that I can't avoid hearing about it. Â It seems to be the talk of the town the last day or so. Â And a comment was in order:
The [...]
