  The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting DaVaris Daniels, a receiver at Vernon (Ill.) Hills, has committed to Miami.

  Longtime Sun-Times reporter Taylor Bell  says Daniels is expected to make an official announcement Tuesday morning. The 6-3, 180-pound Daniels is regarded as the top prospect in the Chicago area.
