The Departed: Cristobal and Cyprien
Well, that was a busy hour on the phone.
After my cell phone battery drained waiting to ask NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock about what safety Johnathan Cyprien has done to move up his draft board to the No. 3 safety, I saw I had a text message from a [...]

Well, that was a busy hour.
After my cell phone battery drained waiting to ask NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock about what safety Johnathan Cyprien has done to move up his draft board to the No. 3 safety, I saw I had a text message from a source that former [...]

Baseball season opener postponed until Saturday
Baseball season opener, 7:30. It's been postponed until Saturday, 2 p.m. with the second game Saturday 45 minutes after the finish of the first game.
Just out of view: the four fans not taking shelter in the concession stand area. Of course, three of the four were from the swim [...]

Priority Mail
Directly from the official FIU Police Department reports. I will withhold editorial comment on various parts of the report (well, except for two).
Last Wednesday, a U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail box in the University Park Towers mailroom drew the olfactory attention of a young woman. She thought it smelled like marijuana, [...]

The Wright Effect
Getting Louisville Trinity QB Travis Wright doesn't by itself save FIU's 2013 recruiting class in the national rankings that'll get reshuffled in two years once some guys soar like eagles, some guys flop like penguins, some guys flunk like dummies and some guys get arrested like cast members from Different Strokes.
But there's [...]
