    "Update 12:18 a.m.: The Briard (sic) County elections office has received 100 percent of the votes cast Tuesday. The canvassing board will reconvene at noon Wednesday to finish counting about a thousand remaining absentee ballots."

     Things just got even hotter ...

    It looks like a recount in Banks v. Diaz.  With 49.71%, Bobby Diaz is shy the magic number of 50% plus one vote.  Since he's within a half percentage point of winning, a recount is likely.
