• Cuban dissident Fundora ends hunger strike

  Former Cuban political prisoner Orlando Fundora Alvarez ended his hunger strike after he was hospitalized earlier this week.

  Fundora, a Group of 75 member paroled in June 2004 because of his poor health, said he regretted ending his protest after five days, but his health is too delicate to continue.
