Delaware judge delays ruling on suit against Countrywide Financial
A Delaware judge has declined to issue an immediate ruling on whether to approve a proposed settlement in a shareholder lawsuit against mortgage lender Countrywide Financial.
Vice chancellor John Noble said Tuesday that he needed time to consider several issues in the lawsuit, which stems from Bank of America's buyout of Countrywide earlier this year.
