American Airlines working to filter porn from inflight Internet service

American Airlines said Tuesday that based on the feedback of customers and employees, it is working with Aircell to implement technology to filter pornographic content over the 'Gogo' inflight Internet service.

American said that since the launch of Gogo in August, it has not experienced any reported incidents of customers viewing inappropriate content via the Gogo service.

American was the first airline to launch Gogo, providing Internet access to customers flying on American's Boeing 767-200 aircraft between New York-JFK and San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami as part of a three-to-six month trial.
