Global Crossing data center moves to Miami

Global Crossing has relocated a data center from Fort Lauderdale to a larger facility in Miami, a move the company says will help it accommodate growing demand for U.S. customers interested in connectivity with Latin America.
The Fort Lauderdale office had been a facility of Impsat, a provider of Internet and telecommunications services to Latin America that Global Crossing bought in 2006.
