Small businesses in Miami-Dade and Broward counties have until June 23 to try to persuade Office Depot to give their establishments a hurricane makeover. To enter the contest, write a brief essay on why your buiness -- or one you know of -- needs an overhaul for the coming storm season. One winner from each county will receive a $5,000 gift certificate for Office Depot and an on-site consultation with a business continuity expert.
All entrants will receive a coupon to use at the office supply store, the company said. Businesses with one to 99 employees are eligible. For more information or to enter the contest visit: www.office depot.com/hurricanecontest.
