The thief picked up a brick and ran after the victim. She struck the victim with the brick and he fell. Police arrested her soon after.

Two thieves stole a gold Yacht-Master watch valued at $15,000 from a jewelry store in the 1000 block of 96th Street between 5:30 and 5:45 ... p.m. Dec. 16. The thieves used a blue Visa card with the name One Vanilla on it to pay for the watch, but one of the thieves had fiddled with the credit card processing machine and turned off its connection to the Internet, making it seem as if the transaction was completed even though it did not go through to the credit card company.
