One year, three repairs later, TV still kaput
Posted on Sat, May. 10, 2008
Q. I bought a Magnavox LCD TV from Circuit City for $1,044.99 in Doral on Nov. 26, 2005. At the time, I also purchased a $399 protection/replacement plan, valid until Nov. 25, 2010.
Everything was fine for the first year and a half, but then it started having problems. Since last May, the TV has been repaired three times and it still does not work, nor will Circuit City replace it. Please help me, Action Line.

A. We did. After we sent your complaint to Circuit City, you were contacted by an executive care rep, who made sure you got a new TV. You've already received it and are pleased with it.
