Could seat belt be fabric villain?
Posted on Fri, May. 09, 2008
A while back (Feb. 17), Action Line printed a letter from a reader who was regularly discovering small holes in the front of her shirts; it appeared that no one had an explanation.
I recently had the same problem and set out to find out why. I've come to believe that it's the friction between my seat belt and the thin, ribbed cotton. The holes are all in the same spot.
I now put a hand towel between the seat belt and my shirts. Time will tell.
