Poop alert: No-swimming advisory trimmed back after sewer-line break

Miami-Dade cut Biscayne Canal from Northwest 27th Street to Northeast Sixth Avenue from its no contact water advisory, issued Tuesday after a broken sewer line sent sewage into the canal and the Intracoastal Waterway. The advisory is still on for the rest of the canal and the Intracoastal from the 79th Street Causeway to the Broad Causeway.
