Purple Beverage Company Expands Distribution of its Powerful Antioxidant Beverage

Atlas Distributing to Offer Purple in Central Massachusetts

Purple Beverage Company, Inc. (OTCBB: PPBV), today announced that Atlas Distributing of Auburn, MA, has agreed to distribute the company's signature antioxidant beverage, Purple, throughout its Massachusetts coverage area.

"Having recently expanded our New England distribution to Northern Connecticut and Rhode Island, we were looking for a distributor to round out our coverage in the region," said Ted Farnsworth, Founder and CEO of Purple Beverage Company. "As a leading beverage distributor, Atlas was the logical choice as it has the relationships in place to bring Purple to key audiences in the region. Coupled with a growing presence in other areas of the Northeast and nationally, this additional distribution brings Purple one step closer to our goal of becoming the next national beverage brand."

"We've noticed dramatic growth in the market for healthier beverages and look forward to adding Purple - with its seven powerful antioxidants - to our lineup," said Joe Salois, President of Atlas Distributing, Inc. "Purple has already gained popularity in other areas of the Northeast, so we are confident that the product will also be well-received in our market."

Atlas Distributing provides well-known brands, including Snapple(R), Stewart's(R), Red Bull (R), Function Drinks (R) and Muscle Milk(R), to supermarkets, convenience stores, delis and mass merchandisers throughout Central Massachusetts.

Introduced in late 2007, Purple is a unique and tasty blend of seven of the world's most powerful antioxidant-rich juices, including the exotic acai berry, black cherry, pomegranate, black currant, purple plum, cranberry and blueberry. The health benefits of these juices are packed into an all-natural, no-sugar added beverage that is perfect as an on-the-go drink or as part of a healthy fruit smoothie. Since debuting in late 2007, Purple has been praised by such high-profile publications as Health Magazine and Family Circle and has appeared on ABC-TV's "The View."

In addition, nightclubs and lounges are finding Purple to be one of the trendier antioxidant cocktail choices, as adding alcohol to antioxidant-rich berries increases the power of the antioxidants, a fact confirmed in studies by researchers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and by a study at Kasetsart University in Thailand.

Purple can be found in select GNC stores across the country and online at www.gnc.com, as well as in various restaurants, bars, nightclubs, delis, drug stores, health food stores, supermarkets and convenience stores. For more information, visit www.drinkpurple.com.
