Company Employees Embrace Volunteerism, Individual Giving in Support of Corporate Mission

SARASOTA, Fla. --
Clockwork Home Services (Clockwork) is giving back to the
communities that the company and its franchisees serve through regular
charitable giving and volunteerism. Philanthropy is a large part of
Clockwork's mission and commitment to superior business ethics,
unsurpassed service to its customers and their communities, and to
foster customer loyalty of the company's branded portfolio of
franchise organizations.
Throughout 2007 and the first quarter of 2008, CHS has
demonstrated its commitment to the communities it serves at both the
corporate level and within its franchises across the US. Examples of
charitable giving include:
-- Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC) - Employees at
Clockwork's Sarasota, Florida, headquarters banded together to
provide money and purchase needed supplies for three local
families that were rebuilding their lives following an escape
from abusive homes.
-- Habitat for Humanity - Clockwork's One Hour franchisee in
Aberdeen, Maryland, has been active with the Harford Habitat
for Humanity for over 12 years, installing HVAC systems in 15
homes to date. Most recently, the franchisee and its employees
committed to donating a complete complementary HVAC
installation in one house per year.
-- Packages From Home - Clockwork's Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
franchisee in Youngtown, Arizona, is an official donation
center for this non-profit organization, which sends care
packages to US troops around the world. This past year, the
franchisee worked with the local Girl Scout Troop to send Girl
Scout Cookies to soldiers overseas.
-- Autism Awareness - Clockwork's Benjamin Franklin Plumbing
franchisee in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, actively supports
"Autism Speaks," an organization that is dedicated to
increasing the awareness of autism and funding autism
research. The franchise owners (all brothers) pledged
donations for every plumbing repair over $100, and as a
result, logged over 300 calls in one month, helping them
donate over $4500 to the charity.
"We created Clockwork and its franchise companies with the idea of
providing our customers with the best possible service, resulting in
the best possible experience. Part of this experience is reinforced
through a positive association with our franchisees and their
community involvement," said James Abrams, CEO, Clockwork Home
Services, Inc. "Charitable giving is an excellent way to create a
positive connection to our franchisees' communities."
Clockwork encourages its franchisees to best determine how they
wish to be involved within the communities that they serve. This may
take many forms, including sponsorship of local youth programs,
support for the indigent or helping to feed the elderly and homebound.
Philanthropic contribution and community service is an important part
of Clockwork's mission and best practices. Franchisees that
demonstrate noteworthy achievements and outstanding commitment to
community giving receive special recognition at Clockwork's Congress,
an annual event with more than 400 attendees.
