Washington Redskins wide receiver Antwaan Randle El underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday according to a report in Washington Post, but is not expected to miss any of training camp.
Redskins coach Jim Zorn described the problem as an irritation from loose cartilage in Randle El's knee, which was discovered after receiving an MRI. The preliminary estimate for a recovery is three to four weeks, meaning Randle El could be back in time to take part in offseason practices in June.
Randle El played in 15 games in 2007 for the Redskins and recorded 51 receptions for 728 yards and a touchdown.
