Defensive tackle Larry Tripplett was among three players added by the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old Tripplett, who played his first four seasons with the Colts before joining the Buffalo Bills in 2006, has 8 1/2 career sacks in 92 games, including 62 starts. He has missed just four games in his NFL career since being drafted in the second round by Indianapolis in 2002.
The Seahawks also signed linebacker Wesley Mallard and claimed quarterback Dalton Bell off waivers from the Green Bay Packers.
Mallard, a sixth-round draft pick of the Giants in 2002, has played in 59 NFL games with New York, New England and Tampa Bay.
Bell was signed as a free agent with Carolina in 2007, but was released after training camp. He was then signed by the Packers later that season, but was released and then signed to a future contract by Green Bay this January, before being put on waivers.
