A trio of houses at 5031, 5040 and 5041 Hawkes Bluff Ave. light up the night with a countless number of lights, illuminated animals and inflatable characters. All three homes are decorated with a unique style.

Kids should come hungry for sweets %u2026 the Prols dish out candy canes, one per tiny spectator. Drive around the circle for an added visual treat. A lineup of homes feature festive red and white bulbs in a linear forest of reindeer and trees.

Deb Schiele's brilliant and joyous old fashioned themed holiday home at 1016 N. Park Rd., is the 25,000 light centerpiece of a three home glistening musical greeting card for passersby. Schiele and husband Bill invite strollers into thier old world display featuring St. Nick, reindeer made of twisted tree branches and delicate angels mixed with modern features like cartoon snow people and gingerbread men.

Debbie and Pat Nanocchio, at 600 SW 71st Ave. in Pembroke Pines, meant it when they posted a sign on thier holiday landcape of lights that reads

Dick and Debbie DeCrane's display, at 9222 NW 43rd Court, has grown to over 60,000 lights over the past 14 years. Their home is completely decorated, both front and back, with a great reflection off the lake in back, visible as you enter the Coventry development. There is a lighted Santa & reindeer on the roof, and the roof is covered with white lights. Their home is in the Coventry section, east of University Drive, just south of Wiles Road. The entrance street is Northwest 43rd, which intersects University Drive.

Jorge Valle and grandson Joshua Campos are in the spirit in the midst of their tropical holiday light display at 1012 N. Park Rd. in Hollywood, featuring 20,000 lights amid a three house row of decorated homes thats create a glistening musical greeting card for passersby. Checkout victorian lamposts, a walkway lined in candy canes and warm icey snowflakes falling into the scene.

Karen Warseck's home at 5001 Buchanan St. has a whole sleighful of animated reindeer, animated trains, flamingos and palm trees in the true Florida tradition. There is also a whole yard full of snowflakes and about 13,000 lights %u2026 about half now are LEDs, because they are trying to go green. Warseck says it's a little less than usual, because she's been sick.

Margaret and John Toledo's holiday home at 1050 N. Park Rd., is one of three in row on the block that creates a glistening musical greeting card for passersby. See 20,000 lights highlight a snowglobe of toyland elves, rows of candy canes, fabric life size Santa and Mrs. Claus, and frolicking reindeer.

Mark May, at 311 SW 72nd Ave. in Pembroke Pines, started decorating his holiday home tradition 23 years ago with four strands of lights. Today, his front yard is festooned like a holiday cake in scalloped garland and 13,000 lights that spotlight lifesize wood Victorian carolers, nativity scene, a snowman family and Santa's sleigh with eight reindeer plus Rudolf.

Eight tin soldiers, rooftop chiminey and reindeer, nativity scenes, Santa and Rudolf in a ski lift plus dozens of other brilliantly lit features cover the Madias front yard and next door, where their son Nick Jr. lives with his wife Tiffani and 1-year-old Niko.

Paul and Marcia Mesaros, at 10660 NW 32nd St., have 15,000 lights synchronized to 14 different Christmas songs %u2026 you can listen to the music on the radio at 106.9 FM as you watch the lights. There are also two 15-foot trees, a Santa train, Nativity scene, candy cane arches and lots more. The display is on from 6-10 p.m. every night and will be up until Jan. 2.

The home of Steve and Lisa Sumby, 20360 NW 4th Street in the Chapel Trail community of Pembroke Pines, delights spectators with a brilliant front yard greeting card decked in yultide wishes from handcrafted Disney characters, a rooftop Santa and his reindeer, and brilliantly colored candy cane striped palm trees.

The winterscape includes an Eskimo family with iglo fashioned in blue lights and trees, a bell tower, full size nativity scene and a mechanical Santa's workshop complete with sillouetted working elves and a coveyor belt of wrapped presents. Five other homes on the block brighten the neighborhood with starry lights and the sounds of Christmas carols.

A huge Star of Bethlemem lights the way to a peaceful manger scene, reindeer help nine Santa's steer a path to toy delivery and a cozy gingerbread village warms the place while holiday tunes sound as if from a Victorian music box.

A North Pole street sign points the way to twenty cheerful inflatable characters, a ride-on toy train, occasional bursts of snow from a snow machine and Santa lounging on a hammock nestled between palm trees
