World Wrestling Entertainment and the SCI FI Channel announced the 100th episode of WWE's Extreme Championship Wrestling will air 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 6 on SCI FI.
Since its debut on June 16, 2006, ECW has been one of the network's highest rated programs, averaging nearly 2-million viewers per week.
With ECW champ Kane, CM Punk, Chavo Guerrero, WWE tag team champs John Morrison and The Miz, divas Kelly Kelly and Layla El and ECW originals Tommy Dreamer, Nunzio and Stevie Richards, ECW is consistently one of the top performing cable programs on Tuesday nights among men.
''Airing 100 episodes of ECW is a huge milestone for WWE and SCI FI,'' Geof Rochester, Executive Vice President, Marketing, said in a release. ``We guarantee that ECW fans can expect the next 100 episodes to be even more compelling, more exciting and more action-packed.''
Launched in 1992, SCI FI Channel is in 93-million homes. It is a network of NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
