Martino scores game-winner to lead Northeast water polo

Giovanni Martino scored the winning goal with 11 seconds remaining in the game as Northeast defeated Boca Raton 18-17 in boys' water polo Monday.

Martino and Harold Chiffoleau each scored four goals for the Hurricanes.

Gerhard Veit led the two-time state champion Hurricanes (10-3) with eight goals.

Carly Post added two goals.

Samantha Veit recorded seven saves.
