Judah-Mosley fight canceled

The Sports Network

The bout between Shane Mosley and Zab Judah, scheduled for May 31, has been called off because of an arm injury suffered by Judah.

The 30-year-old Judah suffered multiple severe lacerations on his right forearm in an accidental fall, and received 50 stitches, during his training in Las Vegas. He will be unable to train for four weeks as a result.

"It is very unfortunate that Zab suffered this injury and that this great event had to be canceled," Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, said.

Schaefer added that the promotional company was in discussions to try to reschedule the fight.
