Firat Arslan scored a unanimous 12- round decision over challenger Darnell Wilson to retain his WBA cruiserweight title.
Arslan (29-3-1, 18 KOs) controlled the fight from the opening bell and pummeled Wilson (23-7-3, 20KOs) to earn 117-111 scores across the board.
The 37-year-old Arslan made the second defense of his title he captured in June 2007 over Valery Brudov. Arslan then topped Virgil Hill in a unanimous decision last November.
This was Wilson's first crack at a major cruiserweight title. He's dropped two of his last three fights.
