Taravella High School, 10600 Riverside Dr., Coral Springs. Shirley, Pettis and Miller were among 400 gathered at a gala event at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship to celebrate the launch of the association and to honor south Florida's top 100 most accomplished Blacks in medical professions and law.
