Who named these guys wise men?
(This classic Dave Barry column was originally published Dec. 5, 2004.)
Christmastime is a festive time - a time of parties and presents and songs that we all love, except for Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, which I for one got tired of in approximately 1958, and which now causes me to dislocate my forefinger stabbing the car-radio button. I prefer traditional Christmas carols, such as Ding Dong Merrily on High. I am not making this carol up. The lyrics are:
"Ding dong merrily on high!"

Before their respective significant others get too excited, though, it should be noted that their gift idea is for other, richer people. Check out their takes on the Mercedes-Benz E550, Jaguar XF and Lexus GS 460 to find out which posh sedan came out on top.

Classic car enthusiasts causing a scene in South Florida
Robert Hernandez, 41, always dreamed of owning a '64 Ford Mustang similar to the one his father drove when he was growing up.
Ignacio Ingelmo, 60, compared every car to the '68 Chevrolet Camaro his father-in-law gave him as a wedding gift until he bought his second one a few years ago.
Carlos Rosa, 51, has been driving muscle cars since the 1970s and wouldn't have it any other way. His latest beauty: a 1969 Charger RT.

Stranger's honesty is a gift in itself
Christmas Eve my husband and I went out for dinner. We took a bunch of envelopes with gifts for the employees at our condominium with us to give to the late shift when we returned.
Somehow, I dropped them in the parking lot as we were getting out of our car and didn't notice.
When we finished eating, I received a message from a man named Emmet Walz (maybe Walsh) from Hallandale who had found them and gone to the trouble to track us down. The envelopes all contained cash and all were returned to us by this very wonderful man.
