Q: If I've learned anything from your column it's that I shouldn't buy a puppy from a pet shop. So how can I find a healthy pet if I really want a purebred?
Q: Could you spend some time explaining that people should not spend their money on circuses? I used to think Cirque de Soleil had it right until Cavalia. Please tell people not to support the inhumane treatment of animals at shows like this.
Q: My dog started having seizures when he was only 2 years old, and now my cat has started to have them, too. I've asked their veterinarian whether there's something in our environment that might be causing this but she doesn't think there's a connection. What would you say?
