Get into a push-up position with our hands shoulder-width apart and your feet together.

Push-ups should be some of the primary exercises in your upper body training program. Varying the types of push-ups you perform will continue to challenge your muscles and keep boredom at bay. A push-up you may not be performing is the tap push-up. It's especially useful for those who find regular push-ups challenging to their cardiovascular system. Hint: You can quickly catch your breath during the tap portion of this exercise.

Get into a push-up position with our hands shoulder-width apart and your feet together. (To make this easier, you can position your feet shoulder-width apart.)

With your abs tight, head and neck neutral, bend your elbows and lower your chest toward the floor. Then, push back up.

With your right hand supporting your body, draw your left hand across and use it to tap your right hand. Bring your left hand back to its original position and move into the next lowering portion of the push up. Continue for eight reps and then tap with the right hand for the next eight reps. Next, maybe we'll punch out some spiderman and grasshopper push-ups.
