It's time for another Gallery Walk in the Wynwood Art District. Here are some highlights of what's new at Saturday's event:
At the Dorsch Gallery, 151 NW 24th St., the group exhibit It'sOk to Cross Now features work by Karl Vohwinkle, Luis Garcia, Robin Griffiths, Chin-chin Hsu, Cristina Molina, Carrie Montano, Hugo Montoya, Jon Peck, Toot, Tony Kapel, Travis Pendlebury, Enrique Quintero, Brian Reedy, Guillermo Ruballo, John Sanchez, William Soto, Brandon Sparling, Kyle Trowbridge, Maitejosune Urrechaga. Exhibit hours are 7 to 11 p.m., with a dance performance at 9.
Bakehouse Art Complex presents the group show Against the Grain, curated by Alicia Scalera and featuring a wide range of Miami talents, among them Luis Garcia-Nerey, Jose Pacheco Silva and Jennifer Basile. Bakehouse is at 561 NW 32nd St.
Miami artist Beatriz Monteavaro debuts We Are All in the Gutter, But Some of Us Are Looking at the Stars at Fredric Snitzer Gallery, 2247 NW First Pl.
Architectural photographer Paul Clemence, coauthor of the book Miami Contemporary Artists, reimagines the urban landscape in his solo show Construkts, at Chelsea Galleria, 2441 NW Second Ave. Clemence's Blue/Lace is pictured above.
Thinking of Things, a solo show in which Miami artist Frances Trombly explores the theme of transitions, opens at David Castillo Gallery, 2234 NW Second Ave.
