TELEVISION CRITIC

Glenn Garvin: TV Coverage

A lifelong television nut who is rumored to be the real father of Rachel's baby on "Friends," Glenn Garvin took over the critic's job in 2002 after 19 years covering Latin America -- the last five of them as The Herald's bureau chief in Managua, Nicaragua. A 1975 graduate of Stanford University, Garvin is the author of two books on Latin America and the only living person who actually saw an episode of "My Mother, The Car." You can e-mail him at ggarvin@MiamiHerald.com.
