Symphony of the Americas' Summerfest 2009: Get in on a leg of a tour that presents shows in Hungary, Panama, Nicaragua and indoor ticketed performances locally in the coming weeks. Doggy Days of Summer: This new summer series, which runs through Aug. 30, kicks off 2-6 p.m. Sunday with a Pooch-A-Palooza of doggy-centric action. The event includes a pooch parade (doggie must be on a leash) in the interior oval garden at 3 p.m. Village of Merrick Park, 358 San Lorenzo Ave., Coral Gables; free.
